Dual security for Tap & Go cards

Tap and Go cards have brought about convenience, but it wont be long before the security gaps are realised by criminals who could get hold of RFID/ NFC scanners and seamlessly steal copious amounts from people in a busy area R200 at a time (the current limit). Coin Card / Coin Tap

Save all the loose change by swiping a "coin" card" or tap & go. Instead of getting head aches from a handbag that is too heav y or having little piles of change all over the house. Have your small change swiped onto a charge free "coin card". You can choose to "spend it" on other items or "save it". Think how much you will have saved over just one year! SB Customer ID - we create it, we own it, we protect it

A Standard Bank customer email address created by the bank as the customers' single point of identity. Leveraging off the The already existing Digital/ Standard Bank ID, this email address will be created for the customer by Standard Bank to access all their banking channels and products. Video banking

Enable remote video call (phone/web/internet) banking centres with pickup/delivery centers/franchises rather than queues at ATMs and Branches. This also enables remote verification of id and other in-branch transactions for homebound and disabled persons. Great for the hearing impared for which sign language becomes possible remotely.

Proactive Strategy

Problem: We spend so much time and effort attracting existing customers from other banks but we are forgetting the hundreds of potential customers being born every day. An example of not proactively targeting would be how Capitec came to be. Nobody proactively targeted the lower income group which opened the door for Capitec. Renovation not remortgage funds facilities remotely accessible

Significant number of people are renovating rather than buying new. I recently did this and did not want to take out a new mortgage. What a problem, what a hoehaa to get a short term loan. Introduce functionality trough a tool that validates if a card number is valid or not. i.e. The first 6 digits of a credit card number are known as the Issuer Identification Number, issued under the ISO/IEC 7812 standard.
